Job Summary: We are looking for a dynamic and client-focused Account Manager to manage and grow key client relationships within the market research domain. This role will act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, driving revenue through effective bid management, understanding client needs, and ensuring high-quality project delivery. 

 The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and the ability to manage end-to-end sales cycles, from opportunity identification to proposal submission and project closure, while ensuring high client satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships to drive repeat business.

  • Understand client objectives and align research solutions accordingly.

  • Conduct regular check-ins, business reviews, and feedback sessions.

Bid Management & Sales Execution 

  • Manage the end-to-end bid lifecycle (RFPs, RFQs, proposals)

  • Collaborate with internal teams (operations, sampling, pricing) to create competitive bids.

  • EnsureTrack bid performance, conversion rates & ensure  timely and accurate proposal submissions

Client Queries & Coordination

  • Address client queries, clarifications, and escalations promptly

  • Translate client requirements into clear internal briefs

  • Ensure seamless communication between clients and internal teams

  • Maintain high responsiveness and service quality

Revenue Growth & Account Expansion

  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts

  • Meet or exceed assigned revenue targets

  • Monitor account performance and develop growth strategies

Internal Collaboration & Process Management

  • Work closely with project management and operations teams

  • Ensure smooth project handover post-sales

  • Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and project updates

  • Prepare account reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates

  • Analyze client trends and provide strategic recommendations

Experience:

3-5 years of experience in account management / client servicing / bid management 

Key Skills & Requirements:

  • Strong Communication & Negotiation skills.

  • Hands on Microsoft excel and use functionality as per needs.

  • Good email etiquettes and written communication skills to meet business needs.

  • Adapt at handling multiple projects simultaneously, some with tight deadlines.

  • Mentoring and Training ability 

  • Multi-disciplined and multi-tasking individuals with the ability to self-motivate in various scenarios.

  • Flexibility with shift timings and able to cater to the need of the hour. 

  • Adapt to the organization’s environment and contribute as per the KRA’s.

  • Problem Solving & Responsiveness – Handles queries, objections, and escalations with ownership
